He completed elementary school in Zlatibor and attended the Economic High School in Užice. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade in 2012 and was named the Faculty of Economics Student of the Year that same year. He completed his master’s studies in 2014 at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade and earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in 2023. He has passed Level I of the CFA exam.
He is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, in the Department of Financial Management and Accounting. He teaches courses including Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting, Basics of Financial Management, Budgeting and Control, Financial Management, and Banking Management. He is a member of the Faculty Council at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and has been recognized as one of the top-rated instructors. He is the author or co-author of numerous scientific and professional papers (several of which are listed in SCI-indexed journals) and has presented extensively at international and domestic scientific conferences. His areas of academic and professional interest include accounting, accounting information systems, project financing, credit risk management, and corporate finance.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he conducted practical classes at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. From 2014, he worked at Erste Bank as a financial analyst for large corporate clients. He continued his career at UniCredit Bank, where he served as a manager for credit risk assessment and management for medium-sized enterprises, municipalities, and renewable energy financing. He later moved to Societe Generale Bank, where he worked as a manager for credit risk assessment and management for large corporate clients, municipalities, financial institutions, and complex financial placements. His responsibilities included structuring and approving complex banking products and financial structures, syndicated loans, LBO transactions, financial derivatives, financing capital projects, including public-private partnerships, and renewable energy financing. He also held a similar role at Societe Generale Bank in Sofia, Bulgaria.
After leaving the banking sector, he joined Be-terna, where he worked as a consultant for ERP system implementation (MS Navision and Business Central). He successfully completed numerous projects for the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems for companies across various industries.
